Hi! I’m Tony, founder and owner of Cymbidium Studios. I was born and raised in the Cullman Area & currently reside in one of our great historical districts. I love this small city & the people who reside here. I am a comic book nerd & avid action figure collector (all donations to fund my addiction are welcome). I have it on the highest authority that I am a really awesome great-uncle to some incredible kids. They have my heart. I am a cat person. The number of felines residing at my home depends on how many strays show up… and stay.

How did I get into the wedding & event industry? Well my educational background is in Horticulture & I originally planned on opening my own greenhouse & landscaping business. During my time in school I worked for a few florists & found that I loved the artistry & creative process involved in floral design. So in 1994 I opened Briers in the Bramble, an everyday florist shop. After 13 years I closed my shop and focused on a few other creative ventures, including freelance work for floral designers who focused on weddings and events. Experiencing this more specialized focus in the floral industry reignited my passion for floral design with a focus on weddings & events. Taking a space & transforming it for my clients is one of my favorite things to do. Transforming atmosphere and creating memorable spaces for your special occasion is what it is all about.
